DevOps Engineer - CI/CD and C# and .NET core Development vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

• Leading software development life cycle phases from feasibility studies through maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of innovative solutions
• Collaborating with agile team members to automate integration of services and features, emphasizing container orchestration expertise
• Crafting clear user stories, designing and implementing automated tests, and driving continuous product enhancements
• Identifying and mitigating product and delivery risks, championing best practices, and agile methodologies
• Developing efficient solutions to enhance client/customer experience, emphasizing problem-solving skills
• Integrating complex systems, ensuring data flow and interoperability, and managing vulnerability effectively

Your experience/knowledge:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, demonstrating expertise in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in C# and .NET core development, with hands-on experience in building and deploying .NET applications.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and experience with CI/CD automation tools like Azure DevOps Server.
• Knowhow of software engineering best practices including TDD, Pair Programming, code reviews and design patterns
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a similar field, or comparable work experience as a Software Engineer
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless teamwork within an agile environment
