Security Specialist requiring profound Cyber Automation, Python and PowerShell knowledge vacancy for our Basel based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Implementing python code to enrich alerts prior to being ingested into the company's alert management system/queue
• Creating automated responders in the alert/case management system to handle repetitive tasks efficiently
• Integrating the alert/case management system with additional corporate and security systems
• Writing and executing queries like SQL or similar to extract relevant data for reporting and alerting purposes
• Performing application patching of the client's cyber applications
• Assisting with Scripting to enable custom reporting and querying of systems

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive experience as a Developer in Cybersecurity, IT automation or as business application developer
• Proficiency in Python with experience in PowerShell, integration work, and processing structured data such as JSON or CSV
• Proven experience and strong understanding of modern development practices such as version control and CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Ability to digest and understand user requirements and implement them in an existing tech stack
• Familiarity with platforms such as ServiceNOW, The Hive, and Azure security tools would be a big plus

Your soft skills:

• Self-starter, able to work independently and suggest solutions to problems in relation to existing systems and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill
