  • Hybrid working environment (3 days per week in the office).

The Opportunity: A leading buyside firm is seeking an experienced DevOps Contractor for a 6-month contract, starting immediately. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the office.

The Role: As a DevOps Contractor, you will play a crucial role in our client's DevOps team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure efficient delivery of software products.
  • Leverage GitLab as our primary repository for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize orchestration languages like Terraform or Pulumi to manage and provision infrastructure as code.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
  • Manage and monitor SRE systems, including log observability, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, and security.
  • Proficient in working with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Experienced with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker containerization technology.
  • Familiarity with artifact repositories such as Nexus or Artifactory.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Junior/mid-level experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience with the mentioned technologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure as code principles.
  • Experience in deploying and managing applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
