Inside IR35 Information Security Engineer Contract (3-6 months) - London, Hybrid Working

The Information Security Engineer will support day-to-day Information Security Engineering activities and the wider client's Information Security Programme. You will work closely with the Information Security Engineering Lead in a highly motivated and dynamic security team. The role involves securing IAAS, SAAS software/services, and problem-solving within a modern security function.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, discover, and optimize existing tooling, software, and infrastructure.
• Assess and mature access management and secure configuration across cloud infrastructure, SAAS applications, and services using risk-based methodologies and threat modelling.
• Minimize coverage gaps with current cloud, software, services, and tooling, closing gaps where possible.
• Increase security maturity by collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Provide information security reporting as required.
• Protect cloud infrastructure and applications from common threat vectors including ransomware, denial of service, and security misconfigurations.
• Develop and ensure baseline security standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Complete ad hoc requests from the Information Security Engineering Lead.
