Cyber Security Analyst
A leading, global company are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a small but successful team to support and implement cyber security processes and principles.
The successful candidate will work very closely with colleagues across Cyber Security
Teams, including GRC, application security, architecture, vulnerability management.
General responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient and effective operation of security infrastructure and delivery of security services within our on-prem and native cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain and manage security technology in accordance with Industry security standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of security technology configurations and respond accordingly to cybersecurity threats.
- Provide expert security guidance on configuration and best practice use of security technologies, such as tuning, Firewall Policies etc.
- Operation and optimisation of security tooling/products, including, encryption technologies, network security, logging and auditing, privileged access management.
Required Experience
- Relevant experience in cyber security (entry level candidates very welcome to apply).
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and cyber kill chain frameworks.
- Knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts aligned with CIS Top 18, and how to implement technical controls to monitor and address these risks.
- Any recognised information security accreditation
