Data Governance Consultant (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £750 - £825 per day + Inside IR35
Role: Data Governance Consultant
Rate: £825.00 pd (DOE)
Deemed: Inside IR35
Location: 5 days a week onsite (London)
Clearance: DV (MOD) - Active (used within last 12-months)
Start Date: ASAP
We're working closely with one of our clients (consultancy) who have an urgent request from of their existing accounts who are looking to their data for the insight as they need to reduce costs and improve overall outcomes. As a result, demand for Data Management Consulting skills is growing and their looking to recruit more consultants in this area.
Projects are varied and include:
- Performing data management maturity assessments
- Developing data management target operating models, architectures and roadmaps
- Establishing effective frameworks for data governance, master data management and data quality
- Regulatory compliance assessments, including data protection
- Data management and analytics technology assessment and selection
- Architecting and guiding the implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) or Analytics Solutions
- Defining data migration strategies and implementing data migrations
Key Responsibilities for the Data Management Consultant role
- Work independently or as part of a team to understand the data management capabilities required to satisfy client business goals and objectives, and translate these into appropriate target operating models, architectures and roadmaps
- Work independently or as part of a team to perform data management maturity assessments and develop recommendations for clients to address deficiencies
- Work as part of a team to develop the high-level architecture for data-centric business solutions such as single-view (master data management) or insight/analytics solutions
- Supporting the development of client bids and presentations of proposals
- Develop trusted relationships with clients to generate further sales opportunities for self and others
Desirable Skills
Proven expertise in any of the following areas:
- Information and Data Strategy
- Business Case Development for Data Management Initiatives
- Data Management Frameworks and Assessments
- Data Migration Strategy & Implementation Planning
- Business Change Management
- Data Protection Legislation and Regulations
