AWS Cloud Developer - £500/day via Umbrella - 3-month Contract - Remote - SCC Flex Contract

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based applications and services. Working within a Scrum delivery model, you'll collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Testers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions, including Proofs of Concept, that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Your responsibilities as the AWS Cloud Developer:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, domain architects, and delivery teams
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices
• Contribute to innovative solutions and Proofs of Concept
• Stay current with modern cloud patterns, including serverless and microservices
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across cloud applications and services
• Conduct testing to ensure solution quality and performance
• Continuously improve solutions using feedback and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

As a successful AWS Cloud Developer, you will have:

• Strong experience developing on AWS (certification such as AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent desirable)
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or C#
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering innovative cloud solutions
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within globally distributed teams
• Ability to adapt quickly to new tooling, technologies, and methodologies
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
