Key Responsibilities

• Analyse operational and strategic performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

• Develop, maintain, and improve performance dashboards and management information (MI)

• Produce clear, accurate, and timely performance reports for senior stakeholders

• Support performance planning, forecasting, and benefits realisation activities

• Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations

• Ensure performance measures align with and wider government frameworks

• Work collaboratively with policy, digital, finance, and operational teams

• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with GDPR and government data standards

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Performance Analyst

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets

• Experience producing performance reports and dashboards for senior audiences

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience working in the public sector or large, complex organisations

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
