IT Transition Manager (SC Cleared) £650 per day via Umbrella - 1-month contract - Remote - SCC Flex Contract

We're looking for an experienced IT Transition Manager to lead and coordinate a critical service exit. The successful candidate will act as the primary face of the organisation throughout the transition, engaging with internal technical teams, multiple third parties, and the client to ensure a smooth, controlled, and timely exit.

Your responsibilities as the IT Transition Manager:

• Lead the end-to-end transition and exit activities in alignment with the already-defined exit schedule.
• Coordinate all communication and engagement with client stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Ensure current reporting services, including enterprise licence utilisation outputs from the existing third-party provider, are fully transitioned before the new VAR service goes live.
• Provide clear direction to internal teams on required actions, dependencies, and timelines.
• Maintain strong governance, documentation, and progress reporting throughout the exit period.
• Represent the organisation in meetings, calls, and workshops relating to the transition.
• Ensure risks, issues, and blockers are escalated and resolved promptly.
• Support the handover of knowledge, processes, and data to the incoming service provider.
• Drive accountability and ensure all exit requirements are met before the contractual deadline.

As a successful IT Transition Manager, you will have:

• Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
• Proven track record delivering service transitions, contract exits, or service migrations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to represent the organisation confidently and professionally.
• Experience coordinating multi-party engagements and leading cross-functional delivery teams.
• Understanding of Software Asset Management, licence utilisation, or software VAR op
• Ability to interpret exit requirements, communicate them effectively, and ensure technical teams execute accordingly.
• Resilient, assertive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
