You MUST have the following:
- A good foundation as an Oracle Database Engineer/Database Administrator (DBA)
- Familiarity with Oracle 19c
- Linux Red Hat
- Excellent communication skills for working with global teams
- A willingness to learn other databases

Role: Oracle Database Engineer (Database Administrator DBA Support Engineer Oracle 19c RHEL Linux Red Hat Redhat DataGuard Active Data Guard MongoDB PostgreSQL Server Finance Trading Contract Contractor Consultant London Financial Services Banking Remote Working AWS Trading Cloud Projects) required by our financial services client in Dublin, Ireland. You will join a central database administration and engineering team of 12. There are two other Oracle Engineers, based in London, that you will work alongside. The role will be a combination of support and project work. They are looking to migrate Oracle 19c to the cloud and a combination of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
There will be some on call and weekend work, when there are projects.
This role is 100% remote but you will need to work roughly around UK hours. You will also have to be based in Ireland. This will likely begin as a 12 month contract and continue long-term.
Duration: 12-24 months
Rate: €450- 550/day
