Job Description:

IBM Ireland is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Architect/Solution Lead/Program Manager with specialized expertise in the FIS Open Payment Framework. This role will be pivotal in driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions within the payments domain.

Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design: Design and architect scalable and robust solutions utilizing the FIS Open Payment Framework to meet business requirements and industry standards.

2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams in the implementation of payment solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and project objectives.

3. Solution Development: Lead the development and customization of payment solutions leveraging the FIS Open Payment Framework, while adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.

4. Program Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of payment projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder management, to ensure timely and successful outcomes.

5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and propose innovative solutions leveraging FIS Open Payment Framework capabilities.

6. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, reliability, and security of payment solutions through rigorous testing, validation, and adherence to industry standards and compliance regulations.

7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with payment projects, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Proven experience (5 years) in IT architecture, solution leadership, or program management roles, preferably within the financial services industry.

3. Extensive expertise in the FIS Open Payment Framework, with a strong understanding of its architecture, components, and capabilities.

4. Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing payment solutions using the FIS Open Payment Framework.

5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, technical teams, and senior management.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and high-quality solutions.

7. Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (eg, TOGAF, PMI, Agile) is a plus.

8. Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
