Network Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our core network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of networking principles and technologies, as well as proficiency in a variety of networking tools and platforms including Azure networking, AWS networking, MPLS, SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 load balancers, automation and orchestration using Terraform and Ansible and network hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure solutions utilizing Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ISE and F5 load balancers, Verizon MPLS and SD-WAN environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices and services, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and load balancers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement networking solutions that meet business requirements.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain network automation and orchestration tools using Terraform and Ansible.
- Design and implement network connectivity solutions in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
- Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls, and F5 load balancers.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, SD-WAN and MPLS.
- Experience with cloud networking technologies and platforms, particularly Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency in network automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
