Overview

A global, well-established organisation operating in a complex, data-driven commercial environment is expanding its analytics capability. The business works across multiple regions and relies heavily on data, technology, and quantitative insight to support decision-making.

This role sits within a collaborative technical team that partners closely with the business, focusing on practical analytics, modelling, and insight delivery rather than purely academic research.

What you'll do

• Work with structured and unstructured data to clean, transform, and prepare datasets for analysis
• Perform exploratory analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Support the development, testing, and improvement of statistical or machine-learning models
• Create visualisations, reports, and analytical outputs for a range of stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business users to deliver data-driven solutions

What's required

• A strong quantitative background in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field
• Experience using Python-based analytics tools and working with data programmatically
• Familiarity with common modelling techniques and data analysis approaches
• Comfort working with databases, queries, and basic data pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly
