Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a a highly skilled, independent SAP SCM migration expert to support the migration from SAP SCM APO to SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) and Embedded PP/DS (ePPDS).

Role Overview

Next Ventures are looking for a highly skilled, independent SAP SCM migration expert to support the migration from SAP SCM APO to SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) and Embedded PP/DS (ePPDS).
The consultant will play a key role in analysing existing APO solutions, aligning them with business requirements, and designing, configuring, and implementing best-practice solutions in S/4HANA. The role requires deep expertise in complex supply chains, production planning, and capacity-based confirmations.  

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing APO solutions and compare them with current and future business requirements.
• Design new S/4HANA solutions, recommend enhancements, and ensure alignment with existing templates.
• Configure, customise, and build solutions to meet business processes and requirements.
• Work closely with Business and Solution Architects to support prototype development and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Understand technical requirements and produce detailed design documentation.
• Coordinate support activities and resolve complex functional and technical issues.
• Specify developments independently, ensuring compliance with quality standards and SAP best practices.
• Lead analysis, design, planning, and setup of system solutions supporting:
  • Forecast-to-Plan
  • Plan-to-Produce capabilities
• Train and upskill internal IT teams on aATP concepts and implementation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Highly skilled SAP SCM APO migration expert with proven independent consulting experience.
• Deep business process and technical expertise in:
  • SAP SCM APO gATP (CTP)
  • SAP APO PP/DS
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • SAP S/4HANA aATP
  • SAP S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS (ePPDS)
• Proven ability to advise and guide customers in making optimal S/4HANA design choices based on business processes.
• Strong expertise in capacity planning, including:
  • Capacity PAL
  • Supply-Based Confirmation
• Experience working with complex supply chains and production scenarios.
• Solid background in similar APO - S/4HANA migration projects , including design and customisation of aATP and ePPDS.
