One of our banking client is looking for M365 Purview Specialist for a long term contract

M365 Purview SME - £550/day inside IR35

6months + contract

Sheffield - 3 days a week onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview solutions including DLP, Information Protection, eDiscovery, and Records Management
• Define and enforce data classification, retention, and compliance policies across M365 workloads
• Support regulatory, audit, and risk requirements in line with banking standards
• Collaborate with security, legal, and M365 engineering teams to embed compliance by design
• Provide guidance and operational support for Purview-related incidents and investigations

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (Compliance Portal)
• Expertise in M365 compliance features: DLP, sensitivity labels, retention, eDiscovery
• Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments
• Good understanding of data protection and regulatory requirements (eg GDPR)
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
