Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our growing AI group. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution and delivery of our cutting-edge AI solutions. You will be the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and on-time project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and product teams to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation for AI initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Break down complex technical concepts into clear and concise communication for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.
  • Track project progress and performance against KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and course correction as needed.
  • Manage and maintain technical documentation, including project artifacts, user stories, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure data quality, access, and model interpretability.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between AI teams and other departments such as product, marketing, and sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI technologies and best practices in program management.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical program management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) with an emphasis on Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Asana.
  • A solid understanding of core AI concepts such as machine learning and deep learning is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • experience in developing and executing machine learning or deep learning projects.
  • experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • experience with MLOps tools and methodologies.
  • Open-source software development experience.
  • experience working in the financial services sector is a plus.

Work Environment

The team is currently tracking metrics using various technologies, including Apache Superset and Datadog. Projects are live with customers, and early user testing is underway for one copilot deployment, with plans for a much larger deployment later this year. The work environment is dynamic, with a focus on innovation and collaboration, and involves up to five initial projects.
