Hays are working with an established organisation in Avonmouth, Bristol to support in the recruitment for a permanent IT support technician. The role offers hybrid working (3 days in office per week typically) and a salary up to £30,000pa depending on experience.

Your new role
In the role you will join the IT services team to support in providing first class technical customer support (1st and 2nd line). You'll handle incidents face to face, over the phone and via email. The role is split between working on a service desk dealing with incidents and requests, but you will also work on hardware & desktop support. Within the role you will receive a lot of training and there will be an opportunity for personal development and career progression. To be considered for the role, you must have a couple of years' experience in a similar IT support environment, ideally working across 1st and 2nd line support. You'll have exposure with Microsoft Windows 11, MacOS and Active Directory administration. You'll also have exposure with the M365 suite including exchange online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD etc. You will need to be an excellent communicator with good soft skills and be able to build relationships with various stakeholders in the organisation.
