Programme Manager: Cyber Security (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: Strong Market Rates
 

Synechron is looking for an experienced Security Consultant to deliver the Cyber Security certification of a new core banking platform, for a long term contract. The role entails working with multiple teams across a global organisations, ensuring the platform meets relevant security standards.

Role:

  • Responsible for building an engagement plan and ensuring that the platform passes various Cyber Security control functions
  • Manage the third-party penetration testing and ensure that all security activities are managed for the modern core platform
  • Ensure all required security control documentation is produced and validated before submission to the relevant approval boards
  • Track any deviations and ensure they are agreed with Cyber Security and the risk accepted by the relevant systems owners

Job requirements:

  • 7+ years in a technical delivery experience within Financial Services or Large Enterprise on Security Programmes
  • Experience/exposure to: Authentication, Authorization, API Security, Kubernetes best practices, Cloud Security best practices, Oath2, OIDC, JWT, Java, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS Integration with SIEM and SOC systems
  • Ability to manage large-scale technical change and regulatory projects
  • Ability to plan, negotiate and deploy change requests
  • Ability to work to deadlines and co-ordinate various team members
  • Experience developing and following through on defined project plans
  • Ability to identify risks and issues, and act accordingly to manage impact
  • Be disciplined in reporting accurately and on time within the project governance framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A background in Financial Services or Large Enterprise
