Cloud Enterprise Architect
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Enterprise Architect to support enterprise-wide cloud and digital initiatives, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. The role is primarily enterprise architecture-led, with a smaller solution architecture component, and requires close engagement with senior stakeholders to define, govern, and evolve cloud strategy.
Responsibilities

Design and govern Azure cloud architecture, including tenant structures, management groups, subscriptions, hub-and-spoke connectivity and monitoring

Apply Well-Architected Framework principles and conduct architecture reviews

Define and assess non-functional requirements, including security, resilience, performance and availability

Drive improvements in cloud resilience, security, cost optimisation and performance

Provide enterprise-level architectural oversight across digital and technology domains, including monitoring and identity and access management (IDAM)

Develop enterprise strategies, frameworks, and standards for initiatives such as patching, integration, and API management

Lead discovery and analysis phases for enterprise initiatives

Document current state, constraints, target state, recommended actions and expected outcomes

Socialise architectural designs with senior client stakeholders to gain alignment and approval

Review solution and enterprise designs and provide constructive feedback to ensure alignment with business and technical standards
Required Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience in Cloud Architecture, with strong focus on Microsoft Azure

Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Architecture roles

Strong understanding of cloud governance, networking, security, and operational best practices

Experience applying Well-Architected Framework principles

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience working collaboratively across delivery teams and business stakeholders
