Supply Chain Business Planning Lead

Location: Remote

Contract: Inside IR35

Day rate: Up to £850

Duration: End of June (most likely to extend)

Start date: ASAP

The Client is a leading supply chain company who have been operating for over 80 years with around 12,000 employees globally, in over 60 countries.

This position is responsible for the delivery of use cases as part of Supply Chain Process & Technology Roadmap on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

There are 4 skills are critical for the position:

  • Supply Chain Experience, specially on the Planning area.
  • Technical background
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Project management and process redesign skills.

Key Accountabilities

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and efficiently, in alignment with the project lead, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Risk Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project life cycle. Escalating issues when necessary.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Facilitate regular communication and provide timely updates on project progress, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and requirements. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records. Lead cross-functional communications with Supply Chain partners to drive efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the creation of current state mapping to form the basis of Use Case analysis.

Experience:

  • Excellent supply chain experience
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated results in change management and driving value through change.
  • Proven experience in mapping of processes and process improvement.
  • Experience on turning data into insights and extracting value out of data.
  • Desirable to have strong technical experience across a range of data-related tools and technologies such as databases or Data science environments.
  • Experience working within a Matrix structure.
