What you'll be working towards
We are currently looking to engage with an experienced Azure Engineer for an immediate start with a large UK government body. This is a large scale critical infrastructure project, starting with an initial 3-6 month contract.
About You
- Strong experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure in UK-hosted, multi-subscription environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure Landing Zone principles and secure subscription governance.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and/or Terraform for Azure deployments.
- Operational experience supporting Linux and Windows workloads in Azure.
- Deep knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD) including RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, MFA and identity federation.
- Experience with Azure application services such as App Services, Functions, and API Management (APIM).
- Strong capability with Azure monitoring and security tooling: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud.
- Ability to design and support platforms aligned to UK law enforcement and government security standards.
- Ability to build and maintain Azure infrastructure, support CI/CD pipelines, manage monitoring/alerting, and troubleshoot platform or identity issues.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the discipline to follow defined security and operational standards.
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR NPPV3 CLEARANCE
- MUST HOLD SC CLEARANCE FROM THE HOME OFFICE
