Job Title: Scrum Delivery Manager - Asset Management
Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid Working)
Day Rate: £500 - £520 (Inside IR35)
Job Type: 6 Month Rolling Contract

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Delivery Manager (SDM) to join a high-performing technology team within the asset management space. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, business-critical software into production while driving strong agile practices across the team.

The Role

You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and development teams. Key responsibilities include backlog management, sprint and release planning, facilitation of agile ceremonies, progress tracking and reporting, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Deliver working software of the highest business value to production
• Manage and maintain the product backlog alongside the Product Owner/Business Analyst
• Prioritise work from epics through to user stories
• Provide clear visibility of backlog status and upcoming deliverables
• Plan and facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other scrum ceremonies
• Track, manage, and report on delivery progress and releases
• Coach and mentor teams in agile principles and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement to increase team velocity and delivery effectiveness
• Ensure strong alignment between business stakeholders and development teams
• Collaborate closely with developers and subject matter experts to ensure clear, transparent requirements

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Basic understanding of Asset Management financial products
• Strong experience in business requirements gathering and documentation (high-level to granular)
• Good knowledge of:
• Portfolio management and trading operating models
• Investment functions within an institutional fund management environment
• Front-to-back trade life cycle
• Expert knowledge of SDLC and iterative delivery using agile frameworks
• Strong experience with agile tooling such as Jira
• Need experience as a Scrum Master/Delivery Manager, facilitating ceremonies and coaching teams
• Proven experience working in the financial services industry, ideally asset management with a Front Office/portfolio management focus
• Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Proven background in CI/CD, release management, and technical delivery
• Demonstrated success running retrospectives and embedding continuous improvement
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
