Juniper Network Engineer - 12 Month Contract (Outside IR35) - Fully Remote

We are seeking an experienced Juniper Network Engineer to join our network engineering team on a 12-month contract. The role is fully remote and will focus on the design, implementation, support, and optimisation of Juniper-based network infrastructure in a large-scale enterprise or service provider environment.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Juniper routing and switching technologies and will be comfortable working in a contract, delivery-focused role.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, configure, and support Juniper network infrastructure (routing and switching)
• Deploy and maintain Juniper platforms such as MX, EX, SRX, QFX
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VRFs, VLANs
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and changes in line with change management processes
• Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents and performance issues
• Work closely with internal teams (security, cloud, operations) to support business requirements
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams

What You Will Ideally Bring: 

• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper Networks technologies
• In-depth knowledge of JunOS
• Solid understanding of Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking
• Proven experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)
• Experience in enterprise or service provider network environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in contract or project-based roles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely

Contract Details

• Duration: Initial 12 months with strong extension potential
• Day Rate: £300 per day (Outside IR35)
• Location: Fully Remote
• Start Date: ASAP
