Job Summary
Our client, a leading IT consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Principal Network Architect to support network transformation initiatives for enterprise clients. This senior role demands a strong architect who can serve as the technical authority on complex projects, guiding teams from strategy through implementation while maintaining strong client relationships. You will have extensive consulting experience, expert-level certifications (CCIE/CCNP/VCAP), deep expertise in SD-WAN, network security, and OSS platforms, with proven ability to lead enterprise-scale transformation projects and engage C-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale network transformation and migration programmes, serving as the technical design authority
• Lead strategic workshops and design sessions with clients and project teams to establish clear objectives and technical direction
• Build and maintain relationships with C-level and senior technical stakeholders, establishing trust through expert guidance and delivery excellence
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation spanning requirements analysis, solution architecture, and detailed implementation specifications
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring quality standards, risk management, and adherence to best practices
• Bridge business strategy and technical execution by converting organisational goals into scalable, secure network solutions

Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive working experience in technical consulting or systems integration, with demonstrable success delivering enterprise network projects
• Deep expertise in enterprise networking, including advanced routing/switching, network security architectures, and SD-WAN implementations
• Proven track record as a senior network architect with hands-on experience in complex, multi-vendor network environments
• Professional certifications at expert level (CCIE, CCNP, VCAP, or equivalent vendor credentials)
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication abilities, with experience influencing technical decisions at the executive level
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSS platforms, security appliances (Firewalls, load balancers), and modern network service delivery models
