Project Manager - Salesforce Marketing & Data Cloud - £540 Inside IR35 day rate
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud to lead the delivery of transformative digital and data-driven projects.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams - including marketing, data, and technology specialists - to ensure our Salesforce ecosystem delivers measurable business outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both project delivery excellence and deep understanding of Salesforce's customer engagement and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud projects from inception to completion.

Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources.

Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, data, and IT to translate business objectives into actionable Salesforce solutions.

Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and core Salesforce CRM.

Drive adoption and alignment of best practices in data management, campaign automation, and customer segmentation.

Manage vendors, partners, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, timely solutions.

Prepare and deliver project status reports, ensuring transparency and proactive risk management.

Champion Agile/hybrid delivery methodologies, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Support change management and user enablement, ensuring successful transition and business value realisation.
Essential Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering Salesforce projects - ideally across Marketing Cloud (Engagement, Personalization, Intelligence) and Data Cloud.

Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and ecosystem, particularly in marketing automation, data unification, and customer insights.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills - comfortable engaging senior business and technical audiences.

Experience with data-driven marketing, including audience segmentation, automation journeys, and analytics.

Strong grasp of data governance, integration, and privacy principles (GDPR, consent management, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
