Automation Tester (Government)

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong, commercial experience in automation testing using Java.
• Proven hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Solid experience using Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of API testing tools and frameworks (eg, RestAssured, Postman).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Government background.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience within Government or large-scale enterprise projects.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Understanding of containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
