IT Procurement Professional
3+ years of experience in IT Procurement/Category Management within IT Services industry.
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Professional with experience of working within Software and IT Services sector.
You will be working for a global player across a wide range of sectors, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement. With full ownership of end-to-end souring activities, in support of business objectives, you will identify opportunities to develop and enhance procurement policies and procedures.
Job Role:
- Ensure category (sub-categories) strategy is aligned and deployed alongside Group procurement policy and procedures.
- Initiate, execute and manage both simple and complex RFx.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve the best possible commercial outcome.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Drive supplier performance improvement in key areas of cost, delivery, quality and ideation.
- Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruption in the supply chain.
- Manage supplier spend, supplier contract, supplier performance and relationship.
- Support internal/external audit compliance.
- Escalate issues to procurement Head of Group if support needed.
- Weekly progress report on key procurement projects.
This role is begin offered on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Hybrid working - 3 days per week onsite/2 days wfh (5 days onsite required during first 8-12 weeks)
