Java Engineer - AWS - Microservices - Retail Banking
Our client, a London based Bank is currently looking to hire an experienced Java Microservices Engineer to work within their leading Retail Banking feature team.
Candidates will be working on a multi-year programme of work to engineer customer-centric, high-performance digital solutions, playing a key role in the ongoing evolution and development of their core platform.
The environment is built on a modern tech stack including Java on AWS and uses Terraform, with a strong focus on automation and unit testing.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your existing technical skills and advance your career while working on a high-impact project.
Candidates must have:
- A strong background in Java Software Engineering
- Experience writing test cases using Junit
- Proven delivery of well tested production-ready software
- Experience with Agile methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD practices
- Experience in delivering microservices
