Job Title: SAP Reporting Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Analytics Lead to design, deliver, and lead enterprise-scale SAP analytics solutions. This role will focus heavily on SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Embedded Analytics, and SAP HANA Cloud, supporting business-critical reporting, planning, and insight initiatives aligned to S/4HANA business processes. You will act as a trusted advisor to Senior stakeholders, leading analytics initiatives from strategy through to delivery, while mentoring junior team members and helping shape analytics best practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices
• Manage SAP Embedded Analytics initiatives, including the design and delivery of Core Data Services (CDS) views and Fiori applications aligned to S/4HANA processes
• Design, develop, and optimise data models in SAP HANA Cloud and SAP BW/4HANA to support enterprise reporting and analytics
• Leverage SAP Datasphere to integrate, harmonise, and manage data from SAP and non-SAP sources, ensuring data quality, governance, and accessibility
• Design and deliver dashboards, stories, and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud (Analytics and Planning) and Power BI, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
• Lead and contribute to SAC Planning and Consolidation projects
• Collaborate with business users, architects, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical designs
• Stay current with advancements in SAP analytics, including Business Data Cloud and cloud-native analytics innovations
• Provide technical leadership, conduct training sessions, and enable end users in analytics tools and capabilities
• Troubleshoot complex analytics and performance issues, ensuring minimal business disruption
• Mentor junior analytics consultants and contribute to analytics standards and best practices
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Senior-level internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

Core SAP Expertise

• 10+ years of Experience in SAP analytics technologies, including:
  • SAP Datasphere
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Analytics & Planning)
  • SAP HANA Cloud Modelling
  • SAP BW/4HANA
  • SAP Embedded Analytics
  • S/4HANA business processes
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling, and ETL/ELT frameworks
• Proven Experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions in complex environments

Cloud & Non-SAP Analytics

• Demonstrated Experience with non-SAP analytics platforms and cloud-based analytics solutions
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar Front End analytics tools
• Working knowledge of SAP Business Data Cloud, Azure, and Databricks (preferred)

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills for data modelling and analytics
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis, automation, and advanced analytics
• Experience integrating diverse data sources and managing data pipelines

Qualifications & Certifications

• Third-level qualification in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional Experience
• Relevant SAP certifications in analytics technologies (SAC, Datasphere, BW/4HANA, or HANA Cloud preferred)

Key Competencies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex, large-scale datasets
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven Experience building and leveraging Senior stakeholder and client relationships
• Experience leading analytics initiatives or projects; formal project management Experience is an advantage
