Artificial Intelligence Specialist - Minimum 6 months

Job Description:

Our client, a leading organisation in the technology sector, is seeking an experienced AI Developer/Design Architect for a 6-month daily rate contract based in Dublin. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in building AI DevOps solutions and have experience with Microsoft technology stacks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable AI-driven solutions within complex environments.
  • Build and optimise DevOps pipelines to support machine learning workflows and AI models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and platform teams to ensure smooth deployment and operationalisation of AI models.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to incorporate AI and automation technologies.
  • Establish architecture standards and best practices aligned with AI development life cycle.
  • Oversee model versioning, testing, monitoring, and rollback strategies.
  • Contribute to solution architecture for cloud-native and hybrid environments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security and data governance policies.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AI or machine learning architecture.
  • Proven experience building and deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Strong DevOps experience, ideally with AI/ML pipeline automation.
  • Background in Microsoft technologies such as Azure, .NET, and supporting tools.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with MLOps tools such as Azure ML, MLflow, or Kubeflow.
  • Experience integrating AI services (eg, Azure Cognitive Services) into enterprise applications.
  • Understanding of containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform/ARM templates).
  • Exposure to CI/CD practices in an AI context.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud or AI architecture (eg, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate) are advantageous.
