We are looking for an IT Incident Manager who thrives in complex ecosystems, enjoys building structure in challenging moments, and wants to leave a meaningful mark on digital stability and operational resilience.
This is a contract role with our client and initial duration 12 months
Responsibilities
- Shape and evolve incident response practices to reflect the latest industry developments and technological trends.
- Review and refine response frameworks, ensuring they remain future-ready.
- Turn post-incident insights into strategic improvements, working closely with teams in Switzerland to maintain consistent global standards.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between IT, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders.
- Simplify communication pathways to ensure rapid, aligned, and transparent responses.
- Promote a culture of shared ownership and unified problem-solving across all involved teams.
- Detect weaknesses before issues arise and recommend preventive solutions.
- Deliver workshops and training sessions that prepare teams for real-world scenarios.
- Design and run simulation exercises to validate response and continuity plans, aligning with organizational best practices.
- Monitor regulatory changes and integrate them into incident management procedures.
- Ensure that processes reflect the highest level of compliance and readiness.
- Triage incidents efficiently and initiate appropriate response actions
- Analyze daily operational data to identify patterns and spotlight opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in IT incident management or a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, HP Service Manager, or ServiceNow is an advantage.
