Our client based in Norway is currently looking for an SAP Basis Consultant is to fill a role as a team member and technical advisor for upgrading from SAP ECC to S/4 Hana.

Location: hybrid, mostly on-site in Oslo every week (2-3 days)

Rate: negotiable, please share your best specified in NOK (Norwegian kroner). Travel to Oslo covered if based in either Sweden or Denmark.
Role description:
- Must contribute with experience and knowledge from past upgrades.
- Will assist the SAP Basis team in preparing plans for the S/4HANA system landscape, prioritisation of tasks in connection with upgrading and assisting as an advisor within the transition from ECC to S/4 Hana.
- May involve collaboration with other departments and/or projects in the Armed Forces.
- Minimum of 2 year's experience.
The consultant must provide assistance to CDA within the field of SAP Basis and upgrade of the SAP system to S/4HANA.
Knowledge of one or more of the areas is expected below:
- Experience and competence within S/4HANA and HANA 2.0 DB
- Experience and competence within NetWeaver based SAP systems.
- Upgrades, installation and establishment of SAP systems such as BW/4HANA, S/4HANA and NetWeaver-based SAP systems
- Problem solving related to SAP Basis
- Experience with Linux/UNIX and Oracle
- Tuning and sizing of the SAP solution
- Contribute as a resource person within the subject area
Documentation requirements
Offered resource may be called in for an interview before allocation.
The Norwegian Defence Forces reserves the right to refrain from obtaining references if:
- Evaluation before any interviews indicates that the offered resource does not meet the competence requirements.
- Evaluation after any interviews indicates that references will not be able to influence the result.
The Norwegian Defence Forces also reserves the right to request a personal information form before/after awarding an offer consultant so that security clearance can begin.
Transfer of expertise
The consultant must actively transfer expertise to the Armed Forces and is expected to engage in the needs of the Armed Forces and purpose of the procurement as well as to provide advice and guidance to achieve a successful result.
The competence transfer must take place in accordance with the supervisor's descriptions.
Requirements for work results and documentation
The consultant undertakes to carry out tasks on the terms described in this contract.
If it is considered appropriate and the supervisor requires it, the consultant must prepare experience reports during the process, and final report in connection with the end of the consulting assistance.
All time registration must follow the Armed Force's current procedures at all times.
Organisation, workplace and security clearance
The consultant will be organisationally placed in the Cyber Defence's digitisation department.
The Norwegian Armed Forces must provide a workplace in the Norwegian Armed Force's premises with the necessary equipment at the disposal of the consultant.
The workplace will be CDA premises in. The client reserves the right to that the workplace will be able to be moved within the Oslo/Akershus area, without further compensation for this.
The consultant must be able to be security cleared and authorised. The consultant cannot start the work before the person concerned is cleared and authorised. If the consultant loses during the assignment period the clearance, this gives the client grounds for cancelling the agreement. An authorisation interview will be held.
