Platform Engineer (Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform) - Start February - Remote - 2 months
For our international client, we are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer in Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform.
You will be required to implement cloud native platform services as well as develop and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as a code.
You will be working closely with the lead Architect and develop the platform solution based on their design.
Tasks
* Implement cloud-native platform services to support engineering teams with self-service capabilities
* Platform design based on business requirements (Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform)
* Design, develop and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* Development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
* Follow Git/GitHub actions & processes for CI/CD pipelines
* Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, GKE) and optimize containerized environments
* Drive DevSecOps adoption by embedding security best practices into infrastructure, pipelines, and runtime environments.
Requirements
* Long-term project experience as Platform Engineer
* Long-term project experience in Azure or other cloud providers
* Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code/Terraform
* Strong Python development experience
* Must have: Experience with Kubernetes & Karpenter
* Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE), container orchestration and workload management
* Strong project experience with EBPF AND Cilium
* DevOps experience - GitHub & GitHub actions
* Nice to have API Management, Kong, Gravitee and Gateway API
* CI/CD pipeline development and automation using GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or similar tools
* Knowledge of Databricks and/or Confluence
