Manager, IT Physician Services & Applications (Full Time)

Location: Cuyahoga Falls, OH, OH Country: United States of America

This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation, coordination, and delivery of corporate training programs in support of health care information technology platforms, ancillary products, and quality measurement initiatives for Western Reserve Hospital and its affiliated physicians.

The position also directs and participates in the ongoing design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training programs for medical groups as applicable in support of corporate business and compliance strategies. In addition, this position functions as an electronic health record certified trainer.

1. Education and Training
* Current clinical license or certification is required. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or bachelor's degree in a health related field preferred. Proven experience working in a healthcare environment with EMRs may be substituted for the licensure/certification requirement.

2. Experience
* Three (3) to Five (5) years experience working directly with physician office EMR's required.
* Experience with group teaching in a variety of settings
* Established competence with personal computers and desktop office applications.

3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
* Proven knowledge of adult education theory and learning principles.
* Effective teaching and presentation skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with hospital staff, physicians, and community representatives.
* Knowledge of software applications and trends related to information systems.
