Summary

Meta Reality Labs seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to build the future. Our team values innovation, collaboration, and proven technical expertise. You will shape tomorrow's reality, developing cutting-edge technologies for current and future Reality Labs products: immersive MR/AR devices, AI glasses, AI agents, and advanced robotics. You'll lead the development of our 3D Maps that make Meta's Wearables and VR devices spatially- and location-aware. Required Skills

Software Engineering Manager, Computer Vision Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation
  3. Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve business objectives
  4. Foster an environment of continuous learning, growth, and improvement
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 8+ years of, or PhD + 4 years of software engineering work experience, including hands on technical management
  2. Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical organizations, including performance management
  3. Bachelor of Science/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  4. Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers
  5. 2+ years of experience in managing a team of engineers with varied skill levels
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in managing teams productizing Computer Vision or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning technologies from conception to end
  2. Technical experience in leading teams/projects in one or more of the technical domains of machine perception (ie, machine vision, deep learning, sensors and robotics)
  3. Experience in leading teams interfacing with Hardware (sensors, silicon) teams in setting requirements and product tradeoffs
  4. Experience managing joint hardware-software development and associated rapid prototyping projects
  5. Masters, PhD, or work experience in a related field of Computer Vision, or AI/Machine Learning in domains related to Simultaneous Localization and Mapping/Position Tracking, 3D reconstruction, depth sensing, bayesian filtering, information theory, or 3D geometry

$184,000/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
