Job SummaryJob DescriptionDUTIES: Provide technical leadership for teams responsible for providing and revolutionizing comprehensive ad platforms for Comcast Freewheel's publishers, advertisers, and media buyers; utilize Go, REST and gRPC to develop and deliver premium video content, robust data, and advanced technology for marketers to transact across all screens, data types, and sales channels; lead development of software components for the Buyer Tech initiative which is a critical component in building FreeWheel's two-sided marketplace and specifically agency demand strategy in Agile Development environments; gather and interpret requirements; mentor and lead Software Engineers; utilize AWS, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native architecture to ensure software is built to meet functional and performance requirements efficiently; build software features; ensure code review and quality of software components using Schema design, SQL/non-SQL, and Object relational mapping; break large features into buildable tickets, prioritize tickets, and ensure productivity of the entire software development lifecycle.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related technical field, and five (5) years of experience developing software in an Agile Development environment using Go, REST, and gRPC; delivering databases using Schema design, SQL, non-SQL, and Object relational mapping; and ensuring quality of cloud applications using AWS and Kubernetes; of which two (2) years of experience must include mentoring software engineers as a manager or technical lead.SALARY: $176,299 to $195,000 per yearDisclaimer:This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
