You will inspire and assist assigned teams in building high-value products for Vizient and its members as well as collaborate with Business Relationship Managers (BRM), UX, Product Strategy Management (PSM), Enterprise Architect, (EA) Quality Analyst (QA)/Support, Operations, and Development Operations to make sure products are designed for compliance and sound engineering practices.

You will act as a change agent, working with multiple stakeholders, to improve current technical and operational processes, as well as provide thought leadership and bring new ideas to the table.Responsibilities:Work closely with stakeholders to foresee staff capacity needs and work with functional head and others to plan for expansion as necessary.Work with peers across the organization to foster consistency and alignment.

Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Team to guide and monitor application architecture design for compliance and sound engineering practices.Collaborate with DevOps, Quality Assurance (QA), and support team to ensure optimum development and operations.Act as an escalation point for production high severity issues as needed.

Drive alignment between stakeholder groups and coordinate any cross-functional dependencies.Keep abreast of external technology trends, internal technology road maps and proactively steer staff development towards the right skill-mixes.Oversee hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing performance management responsibilities for assigned software developers.

Mentor and coach teams and leadership on emerging agile, lean, and engineering practices and demonstrated ability to build and apply effective Agile delivery structures with multiple Agile teams.Create and administer individualized development plans for direct reports.Collaborate with EA and Team to guide and monitor application architecture design for compliance and sound engineering practices.

Qualifications:Relevant degree preferred in Computer Science/Engineering or related field preferred.7 or more years of software development experience designing and deploying large-scale data web applications, preferably Microsoft solutions using ASP .NET, C#, SQL Server, Windows Server, HTML, and JavaScript is required.

Working knowledge of modern Front End development languages and frameworks such as Angular, and work with Front-end engineers and architects to develop digital experiences.Experience with Databricks SQL or Snowflake preferred.Experience leading Digital Technology teams preferred.

Azure experience is preferred.Extensive website development experience and knowledge of website management tools.Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.

At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership is required.You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Estimated Hiring Range:$135,200.00 - $201,200.
