How you'll make an impact:SiriusXM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distinguished Data Architect to join our Data Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of industry experience in data architecture, data modeling, data aggregation, and denormalization. The successful candidate will work closely with the VP of Data Engineering, data engineering teams, data analysts, and data scientists to design, implement, and manage the data architecture for SiriusXM.What you'll do: Design and implement the data architecture for SiriusXM, ensuring that it meets the requirements of the organization's data management and analytics needs.

Develop and maintain data modeling, aggregation, and denormalization to ensure consistency, accuracy, query performance, and reliability of data.In conjunction with the Data Governance group, develop and maintain a robust naming convention for the entirety of the company.Develop and maintain the data warehouse strategy and data warehouse technologies such as Teradata, Redshift, or Snowflake, to support data warehousing and analytics.

Work with data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to ensure that the data architecture meets their requirements and supports their analytical and reporting needs.Work closely with the VP of Data Engineering to develop and maintain the long-term data architecture strategy for SiriusXM.Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data architecture, data warehousing, and analytics.

What You'll Need:20+ years of industry experience in data architecture, and data modeling.Strong expertise with data warehouse technologies such as Teradata, Redshift, or Snowflake.Proficiency in Spark SQL is a bonus.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to develop and maintain long-term data architecture strategies.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Must have legal right to work in the U.S.At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience.

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $188,000 to $208,600 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
