Functional Test EngineerJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 25%Type of Travel: Local* What you'll get to do:As a Senior Functional Test Engineer you will work under minimal supervision, perform tasks related to (functional, 508 Compliance, regression, performance, load, end-to-end, information assurance, integration, and security) testing of the PeopleSoft-Global Payroll based Army Military Pay system using manual and automated test tools. Work with business analysts to understand the system design and works with developers to resolve defects.

Work with the Senior Test Lead to ensure test processes and procedures are followed.More About the Role:Update/maintain detailed test plans; develops test scenarios and test scripts; and, traces requirements to test cases to ensure coverage for full system integration testEnsures functional and technical requirements are met through system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activitiesDesigns, develops and executes reusable test cases and procedures based on requirements relevant to automated test planning and creation using HP Application Life-Cycle Management (ALM) or a newly acquired toolIdentifies, creates and secures test data as necessaryPerforms functional administration, configuration, and utilization of testing toolsCollects, tracks and reports test metrics and briefs leadership on test statusSupport the development of the Contractor's Test Management Plan (TMP) that defines the approach, processes, and procedures that integrates with and supports the Government's Integrated Test and Evaluation (T&E) approach and Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)Maintains the Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM) with embedded Testability Matrix that maps test methods and events, test scripts, scenarios, and test results to the applicable requirement, to include test-related artifact changes.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field with 10-12 years of software testing experienceAbility to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (7 of the positions)Active Final DoD Secret clearance (for the on-site position)Willing to obtain SAFe Certified Agilist certification within 90 days of startingDevelopment/Testing/Training experience on IPPS-A projectStrong understanding of software testing techniques and methods with a solid quality assurance backgroundExperience with Test Management tools (HP ALM, Azure DevOps, Jira)Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment with understanding of test concepts, methodologies and practicesAbility to communicate in a clear and concise mannerThese Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:Knowledge and experience with Oracle UPK and GRC Suite, and SQL knowledge of PeopleSoft versions 9.

22 years of PeopleSoft HCM or Global Payroll experience with experience across the Human Resource modules; including Core HR, Self Service, Benefits, Time and LaborKnowledge of Ab InitioKnowledge of Automation tools (HP Unified Functional Testing)Experience with automated regression test scripts, in Federal Government software testing, and testing experience in Web environmentsDemonstrated experience working with continuous integration environmentsActive DoD Secret clearanceAgile SAFe Agilist certifiedSecurity+ certificationCompany Overview:CACI is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
