The Loan Trading Production Management team is seeking candidate with strong technical background that combines both DevOps and Systems administration background to operate and manage multiple applications. The candidate will implement creative solutions to operations problems, delivering solutions through CI/CD pipeline, optimizing existing systems and work with the SRE lead to build infrastructure, capacity, resiliency management and eliminating work through automation. The goal is to maintain JPM's lead position in North America in the loan trade settlements space as well as provide industry wide solutions, where applicable.

Job responsibilitiesFocus on infrastructure and application monitoring/support on an ongoing basisInvestigate application issues real-time and ability to identify root cause (L3 engineer)Articulates the root cause analysis with no-blame approach.Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activitiesAnticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirementsManages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirementsArticulates the business value and impact of advanced technical and non-technical information with ease and knows when to seek more experienced management assistance/escalations.Drive accountability of individuals for analyzing application's current state, develop a target state approach, and facilitate implementationProvide direction around operational process, tooling, visibility, and other business-aligned initiativesCreates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representationRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsStrong technical and functional exposure and ability to quickly grasp new functions/features added to the applicationWell versed in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Oracle and usage of Log Analytics tools like Splunk, Application Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, GrafanaProficiency in modern cloud and container platform like Azure, AWS and KubernetesHands-on experience with AWS and related tools like RDS, Aurora PostreSQL, Key Management Services (KMS), OpenSearch, DataDog, CloudWatch (3+ continuous years of experience is preferable and certifications are recommended)Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and SecurityProven Agile/DevOps background to deliver solutions through CI/CD pipeline,Experience leading technology projects and managing technologistsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience with ReactExperience with AWS cloudJPMorgan Chase & Co.
