You are a curious person who loves digging deeper into puzzles and supporting your conclusions with rigorous data-driven reasoning, and you thrive on working with others to translate high-value business problems into quantitative questions. You will be the point person for all matters data and analytics within the team, working with Battery Software design and test engineers, and executives to understand how Lucid can best leverage its vast data repository to make data-driven decisions. You will also work closely with the Core Data team, interfacing with them to take advantage of petabytes of telemetry and advanced AI and Machine Learning capabilities.

The role additionally involves representing the viewpoint of the Battery Software team when influencing the evolution of Lucid's analytical infrastructure, liaising with Data and Software teams as needed.You Will: Work in a dynamic, cross-functional team to advance our cutting-edge battery and ESS products Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, analyses, dashboards, etc. which drive improvements and innovation in battery products and development processes Collaborate with Battery Software engineers to identify key insights from vast fleet data regarding battery algorithms performance, fleet battery health, and battery usage pattern Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to manipulate large datasets and build data sources Collaborate with the Data Science & Machine Learning team to build advanced analytics and AI solutions to improve products Design and develop analytical solutions with Tableau, Grafana and SQL Participate in data strategy and road map exercises, business intelligence/data warehouse product selection Present insights from complex datasets to battery, partner teams and executives in a timely and concise manner Design, implement & optimize data pipelines to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into data warehousesYou Bring: 3+ years of work experience with business intelligence, data modeling, and statistical analysis Experience working directly with business users to build reports, dashboards and solving business questions with data Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Tableau and Grafana Experience with handling big data and building data pipelines using Python & Pyspark Strong understanding of dimensional modelling techniques for data warehouses and OLAP systems.

Familiarity with concepts such as time series analysis, multivariate models, hypothesis testing, inferential statistics & ML Models. Advanced ability to draw insights from data and communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required Proficient with SQL and large-scale databases Expert Python programming skill Continuous learning mindset - willingness to learn new skills and methods as needed Strong communication and presentation skillsAdvantageous: Experience with data analytics in automotive context Familiarity with Lithium ion batteriesEducation Requirements: BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative fieldSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.

The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
