*This position can be filled remotely anywhere within the U.S."About the Role:Windstream has an opportunity for a forward-looking, enthusiastic, automation and AI leader.

Windstream is continuing to optimize network operations and using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to do it. This role will lead a team of data analysts and data engineers to generate descriptive analytics, communicate with Operations Product Owners and Operations Engineers to generate predictive and prescriptive analytics, and collaborate with Software Engineers to integrate prescriptive methods into Windstream systems.What You'll Do: Data acquisition automation Develop statistical models Propose new models to business users Automate network performance scoring Build process automation and work with technology teams to integrate automation into systems Provide KPI and key metrics dashboards and reports to end users Present findings to business stakeholders Ad-hoc analysisDo You Have?: Data mining using various languages (including SQL and NoSQL) Knowledge and experience with Python, Jupyter Notebook and other statistical/analytical tools Experience with modern cloud-based data solutions, such as Snowflake, AWS Sagemaker, AzureML, and openAI Strong experience with Big Data technologies including but not limited to: NiFi and Kafka Ability to write efficient code and automation routines Ability to work with business users Good applied statistics skills Working knowledge of scripting and programing languages (eg, Perl, Python, Java) Knowledge of AI and machine learning techniques Knowledge of reporting tools (eg Tableau, Power BI) Natural curiosity for complex problem solving - Eager to discover inefficiencies, evaluate data, process information, and find solution optionsEven Better: Knowledge in JanusGraph, Apache Ranger, Apache Atlas, and graph-based solutions Knowledge of data science tools (eg Knime, RapidMiner) Knowledge and experience with regression modelling techniques Willingness to learn and use open-source solutions Experience with Agile methodologies (eg Scrum, Kanban, Dev/Ops)Our Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Plans401K PlanHealth & Flexible Savings AccountLife and AD&D, Spousal Life, Child Life Insurance PlansEducational Assistance PlanIdentity Theft, Legal, Auto & Home and Pet InsuranceWindstream CIB StatementConnecting people in a world of infinite possibilities.
