Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDISH is looking for a talented, driven, passionate Senior Manager-Software to join our team and drive our business forward by delivering world-class software to our customers, partners, and employees. As part of our team, you will get to deliver creative solutions for our new Wireless venture! In this role, the Senior Manager- Software will interface with Wireless Network stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs, assess operational capabilities, and define IT solutions to support business needs in the OSS domain. The Senior Manager will lead agile development teams within our Wireless OSS Inventory team and vendor partners to deploy inventory solutions and develop Java-based projects in a cloud-native environment.

Key responsabilities:Overall planning, execution, and success of complex software solutions to meet customers' needs.Provide people and technical leadership for teams, providing mentorship and promoting best practices.Lead application development and maintenance activity for Wireless OSS teams.

Participate in the design and architecture of software solutions.Collaborate with other team members to integrate various components into a finished product.Think and execute in an Agile manner.

Skills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and experience:Bachelor's or Masters's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.8+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing teams, and managing complex system requirements, with a track record of successfully recruiting and developing talent.Skills and qualifications:Expertise in managing software development teams specializing in OSS systems and inventory platforms (ie Blue Planet Inventory, COM/SOM)Great communication skills - someone who is passionate about sharing your vision and getting others excitedPreferred Skills:Experience with Blue Planet Inventory, wireless and transport design.

Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.Working attire: Business casualWorking hours: This is a full-time position: 40 hours/week. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
