You'll be helping us create experiences that both delight our Shops' customers and keep them coming back for more.The RoleAs a member of our Consumer Platform Engineering squad, you will help design, create, and scale innovative microservices that will help power experiences that are as delightful as they are effective. In this role, you will contribute to distributed services written primarily in Golang, but you can look forward to utilizing Python and Ruby on occasion too.

You will work collaboratively with our other Product Engineering squads to collectively define and execute the product roadmap against company goals and realistic timelines. You will help us develop and test hypotheses to optimize the experience and be a driving force on cross-departmental Squads to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities. This role will work normal US business hours.

The TeamYour day-to-day team will include a collaborative group of four Golang, Python and Ruby Engineers, working remotely across the US and UK. You will partner cross-functionally with such teams as DevOps, Data and Restaurant Engineering in addition to other internal stakeholders on product launches and ad hoc efforts. This role reports to the Consumer Platform Squad's Engineering Lead.

These are the core competencies this role calls for:5 years experience writing production-level code.
