We plan and execute test tasks that include interpreting test requirements, writing test plans, designing test hardware, designing test software and testing and debugging flight hardware for commercial, military, and space markets! This includes activity for both RF and digital testing of modules.

The day-to-dayWork with designers to gather test requirements.Develop Test PlansDevelop Test Station HardwareSelect appropriate Test equipmentDevelop test softwareCreate Test HW Bill of MaterialsTest station calibrationTrouble shoot and problem solving on Viasat hardwareData Analysis of test resultsWrite Test and or Calibration proceduresTrain or mentor new technicians and test engineersCommunicate status to program managementTesting of custom RF hardwareCreate HW and SW documentationWhat you'll need7+ years of test automation and design experienceExperience leading a test development effortProficiency with programming in one or more languages such as Python, C#, Java and LabView.Tolerance for ambiguity, or the ability to work with an incomplete set of requirements.
