Solutions Engineer

Base salary ranges by level (Engineering Levels) vary by role level. Equity package is offered and equity range is available upon request. The company focuses on helping Marketers optimize their spend across channels and programs, with a system of record to understand and forecast marketing impact and experiment with new ideas.
Responsibilities- You'll join our five-person solutions engineering team, working closely with our small data science and software engineering teams.
- Collaborate with product engineering and growth advisory teams to share findings and help prioritize roadmap work.
- Perform data analysis and produce reports that are core to our offering; analyze marketing data, ensure quality, and assess model outputs for reasonableness.
- End-to-end operation of data workflows: collect data, clean it, train ML models, assess model fit, and communicate insights to the team.
- Balance quality and speed: deliver high-quality analyses in a timely fashion; communicate tradeoffs and seek feedback.
- Prototyping automation: script simple tools, experiment with AI and automation to improve efficiency, and share outcomes with the product engineering team.
- Ensure data security and quality, given the sensitivity of customer data.
- Fluent in Python and SQL (2+ years): comfortable writing clean Python code and complex SQL (outer joins, aggregations, inline views, type conversions).
- Experience working with real-world data (2+ years): handle data quality issues and poorly documented schemas.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality results in complex situations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts simply; keep teammates updated on status and deliverables.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and seek help as needed to progress; take ownership of delivery commitments.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset aligned with the team-driven, bottom-up culture.

The base pay range for this role is $136,800 - $179,100 per year. Base salary ranges by level in engineering are provided above. Offers also include an equity package; equity range is available upon request. Relocation support and an opportunity to discuss compensation philosophy are available.
