About The Team

The Performance Automation and Monitoring team is redefining how developers test and validate performance at Postman. We build enterprise-grade performance, automation, and monitoring platforms, and are pioneering Agentic AI-driven testing that allows developers to create performance and automation tests without writing code-directly impacting customer trust and paid adoption.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable, distributed performance testing infrastructure
• Develop Agentic AI-powered systems that enable no-code/low-code performance and automation testing
• Partner with AI platform teams to define agent workflows, abstractions, and guardrails
• Integrate performance testing, automation, and monitoring into a unified quality platform
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and platform teams across the US and India
• Help make performance a default, trusted signal in the development and release lifecycle

About You

• 6-8 years experience as Software Engineer
• Have strong experience building distributed Back End systems at scale
• Have worked on performance testing, reliability, automation, or observability platforms
• Are excited about applying Agentic AI to improve developer workflows
• Enjoy translating complex systems into simple, powerful developer experiences
• Are comfortable owning systems end to end and working with distributed teams

What Else?

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $220,000 to $240,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
