In order to address the most critical needs of our clients, RSM US LLP established the Integrated Cloud Consulting (IC) practice, comprised of more than 300 professionals dedicated to serving the cloud and infrastructure platform needs of our clients. This group includes experienced consultants located throughout the globe. We serve a diverse client base within a variety of industries and are focused on meeting our clients where they need us most across a variety of domains-helping them realize their stated outcomes through our advisory, implementation and operations capabilities.
We are seeking an individual with both broad and deep cloud implementation and migration experience with a focus on the use of AI and analytics to lead the continued growth of our cloud practice serving RSM clients in a variety of industries and geographic locations. The successful candidate will have solid working knowledge of FinOps, Emerging AI Practices, application patterns, cloud architecture models, leading vendor products and solutions, cloud technology trends, security design and innovation as well as experience leveraging this knowledge to benefit global organizations.
The candidate will also possess strong leadership traits and exhibit a proven track record of developing, launching and operating cloud consulting practices with standardization of both GTM, solution development and execution. This individual will ultimately be partly responsible for the long-term vision of our practice, specifically in the development of non-people-based IP, including the focus on developing repeatable solution patterns that are available to clients. The IC practice leader will build strong client relationships, identify and pursue new opportunities, and lead multiple engagements across industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses, the challenges they face and the outcomes they are looking to achieve.
- Identify, pursue and close new opportunities with both existing and new clients; provide subject matter knowledge to support the broader consulting practice.
- Lead multiple client account teams across a wide variety of industries; manage several threads of complex implementation and migration engagements.
- Lead a global team of application specialists, develop go-to-market solutions, work with leading technology vendors, and champion the cloud practice throughout the Firm.
- Drive the development of modern cloud modernization strategies, value frameworks, application estate planning, modernization and migration patterns, with a focus on using AI and automation to accelerate client value.
- Develop and run FinOps approaches using native and vendor products.
- Design, architect, implement and support simple to complex enterprise solutions; guide and mentor clients through the entire process.
- Understand common application development and deployment models including platform types (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
- Create repeatable solution factory models for environments of various sizes.
- Contribute to industry eminence through publishing and speaking on relevant topics; recruit top talent through networks and eminence activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree or graduate degree and 10+ years of related work experience.
- High proficiency with application development technologies.
- High proficiency with FinOps, AI Development and Automated modernization tools and techniques.
- Experience with private, public and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; ability to interact with internal and external resources at all organizational levels.
- Excellent project management, organization and follow-up skills; strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player; able to work in virtual teams and independently; willingness and ability to travel globally.
- Strong financial and business acumen; ability to speak about technology in the language of business; curiosity about business and technology; desire to learn.
- Knowledge of industries such as Financial Services and Insurance, Consumer Products, Technology, or Industrials would be advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Experience
- FinOps - Strong understanding of FinOps practices, tools and client needs for FinOps across technology spend.
- Strong Value Management practice skills to link spend and programs to defined financial outcomes, including Technology Business Cases, Multi-Year ROI and investment modelling.
- Applications - Experience with migration tooling and execution methodologies (7Rs framework).
- Automation and DevSecOps - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, observability and DevSecOps practices.
- Infrastructure and Architecture - Strong foundation with on-premises infrastructure, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), networking, storage architectures and data center operations; understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns; experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates or CloudFormation).
- AI - Strong foundation with the latest LLM models, code creation and management; hands-on experience using CoPilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Anthropomorphic (Anthropic) and other related AI platforms.

RSM does not hire entry level candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future. RSM will consider applicants with arrest or conviction records where allowed by law. Salary range: $134,000 - $269,000; compensation may vary based on factors such as location and experience. Eligible for discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
