Back-End Software Engineer (Hybrid 2 days onsite | SF | Contract-to-Hire)

A fast-growing fintech company is looking for an experienced Back-End Software Engineer to help build the infrastructure powering the next generation of digital payments.

You'll play a key role in designing, building, and scaling Back End services that enable secure, reliable payment experiences across both traditional and digital assets. Working closely with product and engineering partners across global teams, you'll contribute to core systems that handle high-volume, mission-critical transactions.

• Design, develop, and maintain Back End services and APIs
• Build scalable, cloud-based systems using Azure
• Optimize performance, reliability, and security across Back End platforms
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews
• Troubleshoot, test, and resolve production issues efficiently
• Stay current on backend, fintech, and crypto technologies
• Develop secure, crypto-first solutions supporting payments and transfers

• 5-7+ years of Back End engineering experience, ideally in fintech or crypto
• Strong experience with languages such as C#, Java, Scala, or Go
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts, wallets, and RPCs
• Experience working with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Pay Range: $100k-$200k DOE
