In this hybrid role, you will report to a TLM of Planner Technology.

You will:

• Work with our creative team to ensure that our cars' behavior is safe, smooth, and predictable to other road users, including handling complex social situations such as merging and negotiating narrow roads, while managing noisy, uncertain, and incomplete information.
• Translate open-ended real-world problems into well-defined engineering challenges; develop tools, algorithms, and evaluation mechanisms; scale them to Google-sized data pipelines; and optimize them for Real Time operation on vehicles.

You have:

• BSc in Computer Science, ML, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of general software engineering experience, proficient in C+ with efficient coding.
• Experience collaborating across diverse teams.

We prefer:

• MS in Computer Science, ML, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Experience solving motion planning or related robotics problems in software engineering.
• Experience deploying or evaluating ML-based systems in production environments.
